This is outside of the issue that any such critical notification delivered via e-mail makes it nigh-impossible to safely and sanely undertake specific actions on user input acting on the notice. Should the information be sent via e-mail to an adminstrator, and stored for later viewing in general? Yes. Does that mean e-mail is the best mechanism for presenting it?
