With built-in mechanisms to allow for easy spoofing of critical events to the user from anyone on the internet, no less! This is outside of the issue that any such critical notification delivered via e-mail makes it nigh-impossible to safely and sanely undertake specific actions on user input acting on the notice. Should the information be sent via e-mail to an adminstrator, and stored for later viewing in general? Yes. Does that mean e-mail is the best mechanism for presenting it? No. Bill -- fedora-devel-list mailing list fedora-devel-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-devel-list
