What would be the best way to move ahead with this now? File individual bug reports against each of them?
Have you checked why s-c-d has a dependency on metacity ?!

It is there because it runs metacity if there is no X server/wm around.
Having twm installed will help little for that...


What about eg. fvwm instead of twm? twm doesn't look familiar for
GNOME/KDE user at all...

Should we have a prefwm maybe?
