Hi
System-config-display has a hard dependency on metacity while it is not
required at all in say the KDE or Xfce spin. I believe the ideal
solution would be to have add a virtual provides to all the window
managers and then depend on it from system-config-display
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=427814
What would be the best way to move ahead with this now? File individual
bug reports against each of them?
Have you checked why s-c-d has a dependency on metacity ?!
It is there because it runs metacity if there is no X server/wm around.
Having twm installed will help little for that...
What about eg. fvwm instead of twm? twm doesn't look familiar for
GNOME/KDE user at all...
Should we have a prefwm maybe?
