RHEL5 is basically FC6 LTS. RHEL6 will > basically be F9 LTS. And so on. I'm reminded that I really shouldn't say "RHEL6 will basically be F9 LTS", as it might be interpreted as a promise or a fact. It is not. Its just me, some dumb guy who happens to have a @redhat.com email address, doing some math and extrapolating. RHEL3 was branched somewhere between Red Hat Linux 9 and FC1, RHEL4 was branched somewhere between FC2 and FC3, RHEL5 was branched just before FC6, so it would suggest RHEL6 will be branched somewhere in the F8 to F10 time-frame (which F9 is right in the middle of), but so far as I know, it'll be based on F13. - -- Jarod Wilson jwilson@xxxxxxxxxx -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFHl2gUtO+bni+75QMRAn2TAJ4+ENsZJTIInUrL/JXBGtMwoBZu5gCguM3D oSGYBRTxRrDeOimddRDCGAo= =1o/r -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- fedora-devel-list mailing list fedora-devel-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-devel-list
