I'm reminded that I really shouldn't say "RHEL6 will basically be F9 LTS", as
it might be interpreted as a promise or a fact. It is not. Its just me, some
dumb guy who happens to have a @redhat.com email address, doing some math and
extrapolating. RHEL3 was branched somewhere between Red Hat Linux 9 and FC1,
RHEL4 was branched somewhere between FC2 and FC3, RHEL5 was branched just
before FC6, so it would suggest RHEL6 will be branched somewhere in the F8 to
F10 time-frame (which F9 is right in the middle of), but so far as I know,
it'll be based on F13.
