I understand X wants Y to specific a direct or indirect dependency which is not the case here. Yum is merely indicating a repository issue in this instance.

A "repository issue" because it attempted at replacing firefox with
xulrunner. Which is because "yum wants xulrunner" in the update
transaction set.

Right. As Jesse Keating, we are merely reading things differently.
