Oh well. This worked :

rpm -e --nodeps esound.i386

But it's not something I like to do... and I'll have to check after the
update if any i386 esound packages are still missing. But hey, it's
running :-)

Install     97 Package(s)         
Update    1030 Package(s)         
Remove       2 Package(s)

Off for the evening now. I'll have a (nice? bad?) surprise when I get
back to the office tomorrow morning ;-)
