Right now, I just got :

Transaction Check Error:
  file /etc/esd.conf from install of esound-libs-0.2.38-1.fc7 conflicts

  file /usr/share/man/man1/esd.1.gz from install of esound-0.2.38-1.fc7
conflicts with file from package esound-0.2.36-3

After trying a single big fat "yum update" again. Seems more like a
multilib issue (*sigh*) than a broken upgrade path.

I'll start by removing as many 32bit packages as I can...
