That is possibly the worst example you could have picked.  Max was
sending an email to his employees for education.  Not to discuss some
super secret plan or something.  I'm sorry that you cannot recognize
that everyone within Red Hat is not fully aware of Fedora and what needs
to be done, and therefore needs to be educated as to what the goals are.

And these "other forums" discussions aren't limited to just Red Hat
either.  There was a ton of stuff discussed at FUDCon, which included
several _community_ members.  I have yet to see an executive summary of
everything that was decided.

It cuts both ways.  The fact that you and I and others are not privy to
every single Fedora based discussion is just a fact of life.  I think
both Red Hat and the community are doing a _good_ job of being
transparent, despite how difficult it can be to do that at times.
