Err, sorry for the wrong figure: indeed "FC3" has been released in late 2004. Thanks for correcting me! However, this still means more that 2 years of flawless operation of "LVM" on my various "GNU/Linux" systems running "Fedora Core". ;o)
And as stated elsewhere, "LVM" was a proven and mature technology long time ago, e.g. I used to set up some "HP/UX" boxes back in 2001 and was immediately convinced by the benefits of this technology.
