I liked the suggestion of saying "Best before $DATE" (people /are/ familiar
with that concept, aren't they?), which could be splashed on the
installation screen(s) and even on the backgrounds... just guesstimate the
release date of (X+2)t2, and use regularly scheduled updates to tweak as
needed.
