You could do BCC instead, but then if there's some feedback that someone
wants to send to everyone, you would have to resend to everyone.

While I wouldn't neglect direct communication anyway, perhaps BCC is better because it's really just an, "FYI in case you miss the message in devel or don't know your package is affected." Hopefully they respond on the devel thread if more appropriate.

 
Or you can just ignore the moderation message. I pass all these through
moderation anyhow, it's just a slight delay.

Got ya. I wasn't sure if it was actively or occasionally monitored :)
