From: "Daniel Roesen" <dr@xxxxxxxxxx> > Let's see when the clock will be removed "Oh you can conveniently find > it in Applcations => Tools => Tiny => What you always need => Clock" > and automatically opening terminals is blocked as "you stupid people > should use graphical applications, not shells!" As people have already helpfully pointed out, this is being packaged for Extras. It will be a simple: <open terminal> # oops, no longer exists on the menu RedHat => System Tools .. ehh ... => Terminal # su $ yum install ... # oops, install what? RedHat => Internet => Firefox Google, for ... what? <30 minutes later> Found it! Back to terminal yum install obscure-package-name-1.0.i386.rpm y <where did it go> <hunt for it in the menus> Got it! Brilliant. On the flip side, now the code is a lot cleaner. Which a number of good usability studies have shown to be the most looked for feature by average newbie users. -- Dimi Paun <dimi@xxxxxxxxxxx> Lattica, Inc. -- fedora-devel-list mailing list fedora-devel-list@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-devel-list
