We've had this challenge for Amazon Linux as well, and thus our
approaches (detailed in other mail) have been to always point to a URL
for more up to date information, along with explanatory text to cover
different possible phases of support.

SuSE has some of this metadata already, but it is very SuSE specific
when I looked and we couldn't directly re-use it.
