I see something similar in calibre. A simple reproducer: 1. Open "Edit metadata" dialog. 2. Click on the Rating listbox. 3. Click into any text field. Text cursor is in the text field but input doesn't work. (4.) After expanding any combobox (e.g., Tags), text cursor is in that combobox and input works again.
