The only relevance is that I insist on running with Nouveau rather than using the proprietary drivers as packaged by RPM Fusion. IOW, I deliberately reject people's primary choice because I'm willing to test the default even if it might break. That issue in 2018 showed that Fedora Workstation by default couldn't handle this hardware safely. Sometimes it worked, but usually it didn't. This damaged character is not specific to Fedora 33. It has been observed before. So, when it happens, I need ideas what to try. Alternatively, I could try running with a modified configuration as to see whether the symptoms won't show up ever again. _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
