The last Qt 4 WebKit was branched from WebKit master in early August 2012 and the last release was 2.3.4 in October 2014, so 5.212 is 2 to 4 years less outdated. Hence, please understand that we are trying to get rid of the older (Qt 4) version first. We cannot do everything at once. And I still think that for Qt 5 WebKit, we need to consider shipping a snapshot of the current development branch, based on WebKitGTK 2.27.1, instead of dropping the package entirely. If the snapshot works at all (even with bugs), it is better than dropping the package and losing all applications that depend on it.
