So you want to discuss Linux desktop deployments, excluding the only
sucessful mass Linux desktop deployment to date? Why?

Also your data conflates systems sold in XXXX with systems in use in
XXXX. That’s a very misleading assumption to make, computer systems
have matured a lot, and hardware lifetime has gone up with this
maturing (much to manufacturer’s despair, the maturing is starting to
affect smartphones now).

It’s no longer early days when you replaced last year’s experimental
system with current year’s experimentalk system because nothing had
settled yet.
