Ok, I managed to solve the issue by defining

-DBOOST_ROOT=%{_prefix} -DBOOST_LIBRARYDIR=%{_lib}

which you didn't... so still I don't know why it was failing, but at
least it's working now.

Dealing with the next issue now... Thanks!
