The point is, the Ant 1.10.2 package can be used to build itself (as well as 
hundreds of other Java packages, including the user's own code). It is not 
essential to be able to redo the bootstrapping as long as the bootstrapped 
binary that is shipped is self-hosting.

And if you want to no longer ship Ant because it is "only" a build tool, 
that is going to make Fedora essentially useless for Java developers.
