The text in Till's mail was not adjusted to reflect this. Nevertheless, the plan is to do what was voted. The reason why we don't just reassign all packages to co-maintainers right now is that often it's not clear which if any of the other maintainers are active. Unfortunately there is no "button" in pagure, and the process to take a package is a manual releng ticket. Yeah, it's all quite a bit more manual and messy than it should be.
