As an end-user testing my [organization's] applications on a new/beta 
distro release?  This is something I'll absolutely test!

But as a distro packager?  Probably not on a build-by-build basis, but 
in the ramp-up to a new distro release?  I'd sure hope that there would 
be a least one run of the project's regression suite which, in the case 
of databases, presumably includes some heavy connection loading.
