Incorrect. The modesetting driver works fine on these cards. As far as
I'm aware the only reason to want the amdgpu X driver is a) for older X
servers that don't have the modesetting driver, b) if you want to use
the closed-source 3D driver as well. Neither of those apply to Fedora,
so...
