I guess no one held their hands and showed them the power of the terminal before. Needless to say, a few demonstrations is almost always sufficient for them to realize what they have been missing and they usually change their workflow and start using the terminal by their own will. I believe the main reason for this is that Windows does not ship with a decent terminal, and most of these folks grew up with Windows. Hopefully, this will change.
