It applies to filesystems enabled in Fedora.   Someone has to do the work.  If you aren't volunteering that's perfectly fine but other distributions enable all sort of things that aren't enabled in Fedora and vice versa for a number of different reasons. So that by itself isn't going to be convincing.  Sorry.
