You're pivoting the discussion quite extensively at this point, and I'm
not really sure you're pivoting it down an interesting path.

Nothing I said, so far as I can see, implied that I'm endorsing
"pretending people don't do that", nor do I think that's a reasonable
characterization of the current situation. I'll just leave this fork
there.
