Please stop it, both of you. There are great usecases for applications and libraries being included in a distribution. That is why Fedora (and every other distribution) exists in the first place. There are ALSO usecases for shipping containerized applications. That is where much of the web development and other application development has headed in recent times. Ignoring that does us no good and leaves us sitting around with an application deployment framework that increasingly fewer upstreams want to care about. Both types of application deployment need to exist. If you think this is somehow isolated to the Workstation product, it isn't.
