Sure he did.

The only novice that would install Linux by himself in some form would
be, IMHO, someone that is using WinXP and has been told it is soon EOL.
And doesn't want to buy a new computer or does not have the hardware to
run Win 7 or Win 8, and does not want to buy the OS anyway. Or perhaps
does not need anything geeky.

Or? Some one that has been talked into using Linux by someone that
could/should help them with this. IMO? They should have suggested some
form of Ubuntu, which is much, much more Newbie user friendly and not
Fedora which is not.

Which means? IMO? If you don't know what the heck you are doing? Don't
do it.

As for these two people? Do you make three people? All do respect given
*I get a Grub Menu that shows the last three kernels as well as a Rescue
entry.* If you don't? Your 'stuff' is broken. Most likely by you since I
have the default. By or actions or old, left over configs from too many
updates.
