I brought this up at a KDE meeting [1] last month and Kevin Kofler and
other people who were there said it should be possible to ship a git
snapshot of BlueDevil. And Kevin repeated the same in the bluez5 ticket
[2] as well.

Can you bring this up at a KDE meeting again? Currently it looks like
all the KDE maintainers aren't on the same page with this.
