Today I wanted to give F13 Alpha a test and installed it. The installation went fine but I do not get a proper screen resolution setup. The basic setup was done via system-config-display, I only added a modeline. But it seems to me that the modeline is ignored. Is this a new behavior because of kernel based mode setting or is this a bug and I should file a report? At the moment the screen resolution is 1024x768 but I expected 1280x1024. Can someone confirm this behavior? I'm wondering because before F10 was installed, and I even did not need to setup a modeline. Everything was automatically configured by X.org. cheers, Stefan PS: It was a fresh install.
