The GNU coding standards recommend that files generated by yacc/bison or
flex are shipped with the tarball and should therefore not be generated
during the build; this obviously also applies to automake and autoconf.

Things change when you need to patch the source files and regenerate the
rebuilt files, but that should not be the common case :)
