As it turns out there's a bug where copying a large amount of selected

Any ideas on a work around for the work around?
I tested this on F33 with the affected update [1] and I can still copy-paste a larger-than-1-screen text by manually scrolling the output. Which means scrolling up to the point where I want the selection to start, double clicking on a line to select it. Then scrolling down to the point where I want the selection to end. Then holding down Shift and clicking once. It should get all selected. Then Ctrl+Shift+C, and paste somewhere to verify. (Please note that this doesn't work reliably for moving contents, it's best to either wait until the command completes, or freeze the output with Ctrl+S and afterwards resume with Ctrl+Q).
