Gnome Online Accounts is spyware. As simple as that. You can remove those packages in all the other distributions, BUT NOT ON FEDORA. Only Fedora can't handle it, the removal of the mentioned package would also remove gnome-shell. This is oppression by design. Since it is not possible to add custom OAuth providers to the Gnome Online Accounts GUI without rebuilding the source, I see no use for it personally. For me, it is spyware. I would never connect my machine to Google, Microsoft or any NSA outlets.
