It will be also a good opportunity to see which settings can be moved on
either Gnome-settings and Gnome-software.
Having access to an Apple iMac running on OS X Yosemite, I noticed
extensions are part of System Preference. See

 It will be nice to look what System Preference did well and where it
falls short.
