I wish I could think of something else but I'm stumped. I've never experienced that problem on my system, and I don't know why yours isn't allowing the write. Is it possible there was some error in copying the script? It seems unlikely but that's all I can come up with at this point. If you have somewhere I can send my actual script and service files I'd be happy to send them to you.
