Sure, but please note I'm not representing entire Synopsys and only speak for
ARC part who has not a lot to do with DesignWare IP-blocks as its developers,
we're more of users of DW peripherals built-in our devsystems.

Still since we became a part of Synopsys we started to use DW peripherals
a lot on our devsytems. And currently we have at least one devboard (AXS10x)
that has DW AHB DMAC built-in and we plan to maintain this board for a couple
of more years.

That's just to set your expectations :)

Otherwise I think it would be beneficial for us and the driver as I guess we're
the closest team in Linux community to HW people responsible for DW DMAC.

So shall we send a separate patch with addition of Eugeniy Palpsev as
a co-maintainer or Andy might do it in his patch?
