Still since we became a part of Synopsys we started to use DW peripherals a lot on our devsytems. And currently we have at least one devboard (AXS10x) that has DW AHB DMAC built-in and we plan to maintain this board for a couple of more years. That's just to set your expectations :) Otherwise I think it would be beneficial for us and the driver as I guess we're the closest team in Linux community to HW people responsible for DW DMAC.
