Hi,
after few months later, I'm back in testing the multipathd. I found the
dm-development are fast. lots of changes.
my previous test on multipathd-tools was a failure. and now i want to
give another shot. I have a lil' problem here.
1. how to make the multipathd start before the initscript started to
mount the disk partitions? I tried to modified the rc.sysinit files to
start the multipathd after I populated the udev. some how it failed. my
installations succeded and the "multipath -v 2" show me the correct
answer. and the "dm-0" will only create by udev if I run multipathd. but
would like to mount the "dm-0" to replace my /var partitions.

my box has two HBA (emulex lp8000) connected to compaq SAN
ver.2006(hsv110), running FC2, vanilla kernel 2.6.9, 2.6.9-udm1 patch,
multipath-tools-0.3.3, udev-040, lpfc-driver-8.0.13
Please help me out.
