I'm using AES 256bit XTS so a 512bit key, hdparm used to give me ~85mb/s so
something has happened.

These values are on a standard AES 256bit CBC raid0:

 Timing cached reads: 1240 MB in 2.00 seconds = 620.24 MB/sec
 Timing buffered disk reads: 144 MB in 3.00 seconds = 47.94 MB/sec

 Timing O_DIRECT cached reads: 54 MB in 2.03 seconds = 26.56 MB/sec
 Timing O_DIRECT disk reads: 96 MB in 3.05 seconds = 31.47 MB/sec

Pretty much the same numbers as on the XTS partition.

Cheers
Andreas
