I don't want that this topic disappears like many others. dm-crypt list is pretty quiet and many great topics just disappear because nobody answers. I do not have anything to add to this topic because my knowledge is not good enough, but I believe that the people who are involved in luks/cryptsetup surely have this knowledge.
