primary, i use keyfiles for my encrypted devices. most of these keyfiles
are stored on a compactflash/smartcard.

so i add a second slot with a very long and complicated password which i
remember forever (it's a secret how i do that ;-P).

and whenever the compact flash card gets damaged, i still can use that
password.
