Hi,
I have the following configuration:
1a) /dev/sda1 contains bootable Kernel 2.6.17
1b) /dev/sda1 contains bootable 2.6.16.19 (same config)
2) /dev/sda3 is a LUKS-encrypted partition using ReiserFS
3) /dev/sdb3 is an unencrypted ("normal") partition using ReiserFS
2) is the same as 3) with the only difference that 2) is LUKS-encrypted
(program-files, ReiserFS are the same)
- I can boot 3) via 1a) successfully
- trying to boot 2) via 1a) results in the kernel-error below
- I can successfully boot 2) via 1b)
- I can successfully boot 3) via 1b)
The harddisk was checked using "badblocks -vs /dev/sda", too.
