Subject: [Fed-Talk] OMB Calls for 45 Day Laptop Encryption Deadline
WaPo reports that OMB has issued guidance that all agencies must
encrypt
the hard drives of all laptops with sensitive data within 45 days,
using
two-factor encryption. To get a laptop excluded from the requirements,
the deputy secretary must sign off that the machine has no sensitive
information.
