No problem at all bulding loop-aes for 2.4.27 from debian sources (from sid) using method 4 of the README.debian ie using official tree, headers and image sources (see below). Works fine. But the `m-a fakesource` approach bombs out with a 'rule not found for somethingorother` message. Is there something wrong with my module-assistant, or do you really just need the actual sources the running kernel was in fact built from? ----------------------------------- 4. Building for official Debian kernels # apt-get install kernel-tree-VERSION # apt-get install kernel-headers-EXACTVERSION # apt-get source kernel-image-EXACTVERSION # cd kernel-image-* # debian/rules unpack # cd build-SUBARCH (Only for 2.6) # ln -s /usr/src/kernel-headers-EXACTVERSION/Module.symvers . # make-kpkg modules --append-to-version -DEBVERSION-SUBARCH __________________________________ Discover Yahoo!
