Simple script to encrypt swap and /tmp

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Encswap is a package with scripts and instructions
on how to create encrypted swap and /tmp. It's not automated as the script
previously posted to the list, instead it uses a configuration file.

Encswap also have the option to encrypt to two seperate loop-devices that is used for
swap so you're able to trash and rebuild the second swap while the
machine is running.

Confirmed to work with patch-int-2.4.20.0 + loop-hvr-2.4.18.0 and
patch-int-2.4.21.0 + loop-jari-2.4.21.0.patch.
Some testing has been done with 2.6.0-test{7,8,9}.
Tested on Debian unstable.

Comments are welcomed.
