Mr. Ruusu: Thank you for your time and consideration regarding loop-aes. Someone told me about a package called "BestCrypt" from Jetico, Inc., and this is the sort of functionality I am looking for. Actually, I believe they use the same AES stuff that you do, and they work with the Windows environment and Linux. Matter of fact they say that a "container" can be directly copied from Linux to Windows and back again, unmodified and be read by either OS!?! Now that is what I call compatibility and transportability! Granted their software is commercial, and will cost a few dollars, but that is not always the end of the world. I can tell you, I would rather have donated money towards your project and seen loop-aes run under Windows, but I understand you do not have the resources to do such a thing. With your permission, I would like to know if you would mind if I circulated your software amongst windows programmers to see if someone with a background in Windows, and with the same knowledgebase you have would be interested in reworking a windows version.
