That would also prevent crossposts between lists, which is
a very useful thing at times (eg. a crosspost between
linux-crypto and linux-fsdevel).

To make the spam situation better, I have added spamassassin
to the spam filter of NL.linux.org, now all mailing list mail
undergoes the following checks:

1) DNSBL tests:  SPEWS, spamhaus, DSBL and relays.visi.com

2) spamassassin

3) spamfilter, http://spamfilter.nl.linux.org/
