EVMS and LOOP-AES

Mr. Ruusu, et al.:

	In RE: http://sourceforge.net/projects/evms/

I am curious, I just found out that EVMS has finally made its
debut in the Linux world, and is now available in a general release.
EVMS (as opposed to LVM), is what I wish to start using for disk
management.

I understand that their implementation is inclusive of a
"plugin" type of style for adding features. Would it be okay if I asked
them to review the code you have written to see if they could adapt it
to be a plug in for EVMS in the future (i.e. adapt loop-aes for EVMS)?
Of course, I am not sure (but I presume) that this is the sensible way
to implement a mix of these technologies.

My goals in terms of my current disk management mix are to
accomplish some several things:

	(a) Convert my disks from ReiserFS to EXT3 (so I can use DEVFS)
	(b) Adapt the more comprehensive EXT3 logging features
	(c) Implementation of encryption technologies (loop-aes?)
	(d) Implement EVMS disk management
	(e) Implement DEVFS

Obviously the first part (converting to EXT3, and turning DEVFS
on) can be accomplished rather simply absent any intensive planning (I
just have been waiting to do all this stuff at one time). However, the
implementation of EVMS and encryption I also want to do sensibly.

	Suggestions, ideas, rants?

Very Respectfully,
