GFS/cluster versions?

Hello all!

I'm using the source version of linux-cluster found here:
ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/cluster/releases/
Which is working quite well for me except some performance problems, but
I've notice that nobody actually refers to these version numbers ever.
What do these versions correspond to? Or do they at all?

Also, does anybody know with what frequency the source tarballs at the
above location are updated with performance and other bugfixes? I'm
wondering if I might not be better off trying to find a stable branch of
CVS or something similar, but unfortunately finding information about
running GFS on non-redhat boxes from source is somewhat difficult to
come by.

Thanks,
Dylan
