In sufficiently small and/or fast clusters, this is probably fine. For
other clusters, the reasons that one may not want to do this are
outlined at the start of the pgremapper readme:

To give a sense of scale, for some of our clusters, we measure
post-augment backfill time in days to weeks. We're very interested in
methods that can be used to tightly control backfill in these cases,
which is why we built pgremapper.
