Waed,

Ceph will rebalance automatically. Once you have completed the 5-minute quick start guide, you can store an object with the rados command line and see where Ceph's CRUSH algorithm placed your data.

Follow the instructions in this section:

http://ceph.com/docs/master/rados/operations/monitoring-osd-pg/#finding-an-object-location

To watch Ceph rebalance, simply add an OSD. Follow the instructions here:

http://ceph.com/docs/master/rados/operations/add-or-rm-osds/#adding-an-osd-manual
http://ceph.com/docs/master/rados/operations/add-or-rm-osds/#starting-the-osd
http://ceph.com/docs/master/rados/operations/add-or-rm-osds/#put-the-osd-in-the-cluster

I see but just to be exact I may need to access the objects in the OSDs and try to move it maniually !!
still can do that without RESTful gateway ??

Thank you.

So since the RESTful gateway component is there only to provide S3/Swift access to objects, and you can definitely manipulate objects without it, I'd say "no, you don't need radosgw for that purpose".
