I see but just to be exact I may need to access the objects in the OSDs and try to move it maniually !!
still can do that without RESTful gateway ??

So since the RESTful gateway component is there only to provide S3/Swift access to objects, and you can definitely manipulate objects without it, I'd say "no, you don't need radosgw for that purpose".
