You know umm Winblows Serve, WINS Services can umm do multi SNs I do think. > Now I may not me totally correct on that. That's the whole point of using a WINS server. If you only have or care about one subnet you can let broadcasts and the ad-hoc master browser election do their thing. Current windows versions will also use DNS for most name lookups but I don't know if you can use it to find a PDC.
